3. Venom
As of right now, we have no idea which Venom we’ll see in Alex Kurtzman’s planned movie, but with Sinister Six seemingly set to arrive before that spin-off is released, it seems like a logical place to introduce the symbiote. If Spider-Man doesn’t end up playing a role in the movie, having Venom be a member of the group before turning on his fellow villains (which isn’t too dissimilar to his brief tenure as a member of the team in the comics) would give them someone to fight and perhaps go some way in cementing his status as an anti-hero type character ready for a movie which portrays him as a “Lethal Protector” of the innocent. This could mean that some serious changes will be made to Venom’s origin story, but based on Oscorp’s role in the creation of the bad guys in The Amazing Spider-Man franchise so far, that’s likely to happen anyway!
