7. The Lizard
At the end of The Amazing Spider-Man, Curt Connors seemed pretty repentant for his actions, but could the unhinged doctor be drafted into the Sinister Six by Harry Osborn in exchange for being allowed to continue his research? It seems like a very likely scenario! While The Lizard that we got in Marc Webb’s 2012 reboot was mostly quite intelligent, it would be interesting to see him evolve into his more savage persona with an appearance like the one you see in the image above (something which a lot of fans are still disappointed they didn’t get the first time around). This would add a very interesting wrinkle to the movie as the rest of the team find themselves fighting side by side with an uncontrollable monster, and depending on whether they fight Spidey or among themselves, it’s hard to find a downside to Lizard’s inclusion.
