Thanks to a healthy opening weekend for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Sony Pictures is moving up Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
Rumors had been circulating that Sony may delay the Venom sequel once again, but it seems that isn’t going to be the case. Sony Pictures announced on Monday that the film is moving from oct. 15, 2021 to Oct. 1, 2021, its fifth – and hopefully final – release date change.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage had only moved to its Oct. 15, 2021 date less than a month ago. Originally the film was scheduled for Oct. 2, 2020, but then moved to June 25, 2021. It then moved to Sept. 17, 2021, and then eventually to Sept. 24.
Lets just hope this is truly the end of the saga for this film and we can finally get to see it in less than a month!
Venom: Let There Be Carnage will hit theaters on Oct. 1, 2021.
