4. Hans Zimmer’s Spider-Man Theme
After working on Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy, composer Hans Zimmer moved on to craft a new theme for Superman in Man of Steel before being hired to work on The Amazing Spider-Man 2. While he was joined by a number of collaborators (including Pharrell Williams) who helped him come up with a very unique sound for the sequel, it’s the main theme for Spider-Man which it’s hard to imagine you didn’t all walk out humming! The Amazing Spider-Man lacked an actual theme for Spidey which was as memorable as Danny Elfman’s in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy, so hopefully this one will stick moving forwards. While Zimmer will be busy on Batman/Superman, him also making time for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 is a must!
