Honest Trailers are not the be all, end all of movie criticism, but they often do raise valid points. Such as, this version of MJ (Zendaya) is a bit of a Debbie Downer type.
And can Aunt May (Marissa Tomei) meet a man that doesn’t immediately have lust for her? (Although, we admit we do find Peter’s discomfort amusing.)
Enjoy it for what it is: Some fun being had with a popular movie. The Honest Trailer train is probably never going to stop, and we’re fine with the occasional laugh at our expense.
