There’s finally some movement on the Venom 3 front as Sony Pictures has found its director.
According to a report from Deadline, Kelly Marcel has been picked as the director for the Venom 3. Marcel wrote and produced the first two films. On the second film she also had a “Story By” credit for both herself and Tom Hardy.
This time around, Marcel will also be producing and writing once again with Hardy contributing to the story and producing. On the producing side they will also be joined by Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Matt Tolmach, and Hutch Parker.
No details are known on the plot as of yet, but with the two previous films having grossed a combined $1.36 billion globally, we’re sure they’ll keep to a similar vein of success.
No release date has been announced for Venom 3 as of yet.
