The Kraven film has found its villain as Fred Hechinger signs on to the film as The Chameleon.
It looks as though the Kraven movie will be a bit of a family affair. According to Deadline, Fred Hechinger (White Lotus) has signed on to play The Chameleon. In the comics, he is the half-brother of Kraven on their father’s side.
If this information is correct, the family is quickly filling out. Aaron Taylor-Johnson is playing Kraven, while Oscar-winner Russell Crowe (Gladiator, The Loudest Voice) has reportedly joined the cast as his father.
J.C. Chandor (A Most Violent Year, Margin Call) is directing Kraven from a script by Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Richard Wenk.
Kraven is currently scheduled to hit theaters on Jan. 13, 2023. With this release date in mind, filming should be kicking off at virtually any moment now.
