At long last, Sony has found its Kraven the Hunter and its Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

After years of speculation, it seems that a Kraven the Hunter movie is indeed going to become a reality. There have been a lot of rumors about who would play the Spider-Man villain, but the role finally landed on Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Taylor-Johnson is no stranger to comic book films having starred as Quicksilver in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and as the titular hero in both Kick-Ass and Kick-Ass 2.

No word on any other details in regards to Kraven the Hunter such as plot or crew.

This marks the latest in a string of Spider-Man villains getting their own solo film. The next to hit theaters will be Venom: Let There Be Carnage on Sept. 24 and Morbius on Jan. 21, 2022.

Kraven The Hunter will hit theaters on January 13, 2023.
