It seems that the third Tom Holland Spider-Man film is going to be a bit busy as now Charlie Cox is rumored to appear as Daredevil.
Hot on the heels of the report that Alfred Molina will return as Doctor Octopus in the upcoming third Spider-Man movie, it seems he will have at least one ally at his side. According to multiple sources speaking with Murphy’s Multiverse, Charlie Cox will be appearing in the film in some capacity as Daredevil.
Following the cancellation of the Daredevil series on Netflix, Marvel Studios had to wait two years to use the character again under the deal the two companies had. The two years expires in the past week, and it seems Marvel is wasting no time in bringing back the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen. Where the character could appear after this film outing is unknown at this time.
Spider-Man 3 is already slated to see Jamie Foxx return as Electro, and other rumors are indicating that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will also be appearing in the film as their respective versions of Peter Parker.
The untitled third Spider-Man film is set to hit theaters on Dec. 17, 2021.
