Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), Peter Parker (Jake Johnson), Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld), Spider-Man Noir (Nicolas Cage), Peni Parker (Kimiko Glenn) and Spider-Man (John Mulaney) in Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation's SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE.

The accolades for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse keep rolling in. Now it has won for Best Animated Movie at the Critics Choice Awards.

Who knew a movie about multiple versions of Spider-Man could resonate with so many people? Having just won a Golden Globe, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has now repeated that success with the Critics Choice Awards. At this point it is beginning to feel like the Academy Award is inevitable, but we certainly don’t want to count award trophies before they’re on the shelf.

This is a momentous occasion as Pixar usually sweeps these types of awards, and The Incredibles 2 was also in contention.

Can Spidey swing to some more victories? We certainly hope so!
