The marketing campaign for Spider-Man: Far From Home is slowly starting to kick into gear.
Marvel Studios this week started a countdown clock for the film’s release on July 5, 2019. If you’re ever anxious about how many days are left until the movie comes out, Marvel’s website has your back.
The countdown clock follows a flurry of anticipation for the movie. As production moved to New York City, several images leaked from the movie’s set, before actor Tom Holland appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in Spider-Man’s new red and black suit. If you haven’t seen it, it looks pretty spectacular.
Spider-Man: Far From Home’s release is actually a pretty significant release, because the movie will mark the fifth appearance of Holland in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After that, Sony’s partnership could see Spider-Man swing away from the MCU as Sony attempts to build a Spider-Verse, which kicked off with Tom Hardy’s Venom.
That’s looking far into the future, however. For now, fans can look forward to seeing Spider-Man appear in Avengers 4 (May 3, 2019), following by Spider-Man: Far From Home.
As of this writing, there are 239 days, 14 hours, 8 minutes, and 7 seconds to go until Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters.
