Considering Tom Holland’s track record of spoiling things from various Marvel films, you have to admire that he kept a few things under wraps while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Having just wrapped filming on the next Spider-Man film, Holland stopped by the late night talk show to retrieve his mask that Guillermo had stolen from him.
As we can see, while the suit carries over the same basic design we saw in Spider-Man: Homecoming, the colors have been altered as have the spider icons. In the comics, there have been a few times Peter has detoured from the traditional blue and red – most notably the black suit he received in Secret Wars that later went to become Venom – but he always seems to find his way to the original color scheme.
Now to just find out if this upcoming film is a sequel or a prequel. Our money is on the former.
Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters on July 5, 2019.
