Spider-Man: Homecoming screenwriters Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers are in final talks to return for the sequel, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
So far Spider-Man: Homecoming has made $737 million worldwide, and Sony and Marvel are hoping to keep the same creative team intact for the sequel. Director Jon Watts is currently negotiating a deal to return as well.
The Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel is scheduled to be released on July 5th, 2019.
