A second Spider-Man related series is in the works at Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service.
According to a report from Variety, Amazon has begun development on a Spider-Man Noir series. The untitled series is expected to focus on an older, and more grizzled version of the character, and he will not be a variant of Peter Parker. The series is said to be set in 1930s New York City.
Oren Uziel has been tapped to write and executive produce on the series. He also worked on developing alongside Phil Lord and Christopher Miller who worked on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
This is the second Spider-related series in the works at Amazon. Work is also progressing on Silk: Spider Society.
No word as of yet as to when either show will make their debut.
