Spider-Man: No Way Home passes $1 billion internationally

Spider-Man: No Way Home continues to bring in a healthy amount of money at the box office both domestically and internationally.

The third Tom Holland Spider-Man film broke $1 billion at the international box office this weekend. It is only the sixth film in history to do so without a release in China. It’s top international markets are as follows:

  • U.K. – $120.1M
  • Mexico – $74.4M
  • S. Korea – $61.5M
  • France – $61.2M
  • Australia – $55.2M
  • Brazil – $53.8M
  • Russia – $46.0M
  • Germany – $45.1M
  • India – $36.2M
  • Japan – $29.7M
  • Spain – $29.6M

It won the top spot at the box office again this weekend with $11 million and is now $25 million away from surpassing Avatar as the third highest-grossing film domestically. Globally the film now sits at $1.739 billion.

There has been some talk of a potential release in China following the upcoming Winter Olympics, but that is not a definite plan as of yet.
