New Morbius set photos from current reshoots on the film have pushed the film even further into existing in a universe with Spider-Man.
First spotted on Feb. 8, photos appeared of a bus with a sign on the side saying, “Where is Spider-Man?” and attributing it to a story in the Daily Bugle.

It was originally believed these were from the set of Venom 2, but then Jared Leto was spotted filming near them dressed in his Dr. Morbius costume.

Adding to the confusion of everyone, the Daily Bugle logo on these bus signs match the one used in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man films. We already knew that there was Spider-Man graffiti in the game that looked like the Raimi costume, but then we have the oddity of Michael Keaton appearing in the film reportedly as Adrian Toomes/Vulture.
To be fair, Keaton playing Toomes is not confirmed, but based on this being related to Spider-Man, and him putting on the same accent, it sure seems he is.
Are all the Spider-Man films being folded into one universe? Are just some parts crossing over? We just don’t know yet.
Morbius hits theaters on July 31.
