Spider-Man: Far From Home is wrapping up its theatrical run, but it’s still bringing in a bit more money before it’s gone.
Domestically the movie took in another $7.75M for a new total of $360.32M. The new foreign total os $715M and this brings the global total to $1.075B off of a budget of $160M.
As the number continues to grow for Spider-Man: Far From Home, it seems increasingly odd that we have not yet heard about the plans for the character. The rumor has been that this film had to hit certian financial benchmarks for Sony Pictures to consider continuing its relationship with Marvel Studios. It seems difficult to believe that it wouldn’t have hit those numbers.
The film still has 3,446 theaters playing, but that is assured to drop this week and numbers will drop significantly. Hopefully we’ll hear some news soon as to any plans for Spider-Man on the big screen.
