Spider-Man: Far From Home takes in another $21M

Michelle (Zendaya) catches a ride from Spider-Man in Columbia Pictures' SPIDER-MAN: ™ FAR FROM HOME.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is having a good run at the box office. The latest film took in $21M at the U.S. box office in its third weekend.

The film now stands at $319.65M at the U.S. box office, and $651M in foreign ticket sales. It now stands at $970.75M globally off of a $160M budget. It should easily cross the $1 billion dollar mark this week.

Far From Home is already the top-grossing film in the franchise’s history globally. Domestically it is in fifth place, but is about $83M away from the sop spot held by the 2002 Spider-Man. The likelihood of it finding that money is fairly low.

These new results give us hope we’ll see this series go on, but as we already said, without a new film in the MCU Phase 4 lineup, we are waiting to hear something official.
