Gwyneth Paltrow’s appearance in Spider-Man: Homecoming was a brief one to be sure. How brief? Even she didn’t realize she was in the movie.
Paltrow appears on Jon Favreau‘s new Netflix series, The Chef Show. As they’re cooking, Paltrow asks how the show came about, and Favreau explains it was while they were in Atlanta filming Spider-Man: Homecoming.
She reminds him it wasn’t Spider-Man, she was in Avengers.
Comedy ensues.
Gwyneth Paltrow genuinely did not know she was in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" so this adorable interaction from "The Chef Show" is easily my favorite thing on the internet today pic.twitter.com/lc3VlSs1Hp

You honestly can’t blame her. She did remember the scene, she just didn’t remember where it ended up in the 22 movies across the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I think I would get confused as well.
It’s good for a laugh, and now she has another film she can list on her resume.
The sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, hits theaters on July 2.
