Even with extraordinary abilities, people love Peter Parker because he’s relatable, a kind of every man who struggles to pay his rent and carry on normal relationships. In this new clip for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, we find out that Miles Morales, the star of Sony’s upcoming animated movie, is all of us.
There are actually two clips highlighting Miles’ life as a teenager, in which he struggles with procrastination and contends with embarrassing parents. The clips capture the more mundane parts of his life, but they make him supremely relatable, in more ways than even Peter Parker.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hits theaters on December 14.
