Sony on Monday launched an immersive AR experience in advance of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’s theatrical release on December 14. You can try it now for free by visiting this link on your phone.

The AR experience is in partnership between 8th Wall, Trigger, and Amazon Web Services, and gives fans the opportunity to interact with the wall-crawling hero, take pictures, and more.

When you visit the website, it’ll ask you to tap on a flat surface, after which you’ll see Spider-Man leap onto your phone’s screen. You can then snap a photo and share it through social media.

“The Spider-Verse Web AR Experience demonstrates how established brands can dramatically enrich their customer experiences and better engage with their fans,” said Erik Murpher-Chutorian, CEO at 8th Wall. “Augmented reality allows consumers to dive deeper into the worlds of their favorite products and characters.

For fans eagerly anticipating Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the AR experience is a great promotional tie-in.
