Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Character Posters Are Heroic

Sony this week released a handful of character posters for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and they are heroic. The film is set to feature six different versions of the character, including Jake Johnson as Peter Parker, whom audiences are most familiar with.

The star of the show, however, is Shameik Moore’s Miles Morales, a character who was only just introduced back in 2011. It’s a notable change because not only will audiences be introduced to a Spider-Man who isn’t Peter Parker, but one who is Afro-Latino.

In the film, Morales will find himself slipping into an alternate dimension where multiple versions of Spider-Man exist, including the snarky Spider-Ham (John Mulaney). Other Spideys include Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld), Spider-Man Noir (Nicolas Cage), and Peni Parker (Kimiko Glenn).

Some of the additional voice talent in the film includes Liev Schreiber as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin and Lily Tomlin as May Parker.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hits theaters on December 14, 2018.
