Fans over at #CCXP were given a quick glimpse at some new footage of the upcoming film Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The footage was introduced by Tom Holland via a pre-recorded video. The footage seems to show Peter sporting an upgraded suit that includes the iconic webpits, aka web wings, which he uses to glide off with. You can read more tweets describing the footage shown at the Sony panel here:
The Spider-Man: Homecoming footage showed Spidey gliding off of the Washington Monument. Some serious stuff goes down there. Field trip.

The Spider-Man Homecoming footage was short but AWESOME. Starts from Spidey's POV, talking with Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) 1/? #ccxp2016

There were a few more flashes of shots, but I can't remember. That classic underarm webbing look was just so rad. #ccxp2016 3/?

Pretty exciting stuff. Not only is Spidey gonna sport a new, upgraded suit, but he’s gonna have one crucial element that fans have been clamoring for a long time; the armpit webbing! And Tony giving him upgrades? Spidey talking to Happy Hogan? Really cool! Sadly, the footage is not planned to be released online, but a new trailer is likely coming within the next couple weeks.
