Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is the man with all of the answers, and sometimes he forgets what information is public and what hasn’t been announced yet. Perfect example: Feige accidentally revealed who’s composing the music for Spider-Man: Homecoming!
Reddit user JonLuca says he went to a special screening of Doctor Strange on Thursday night, and Kevin Feige and director Scott Derickson held a special Q&A afterwards. Feige accidentally revealed that Michael Giacchino will be composing the music for Spider-Man: Homecoming and then quickly added “We announced that right? I really hope we announced that.”
You sure did, Kevin. Right then and there!
It’s worth noting that our reddit friend JonLuca isn’t just some random internet user. He’s a mod on the popular Marvel Studios subreddit, so he’s someone we can trust.
Michael Giacchino has an Oscar and multiple Grammy awards to his name, and recently did the music for Marvel’s Doctor Strange. Are you excited to learn that he’s also doing the music for the big Spider-Man reboot? Let us know in the comments below.
