More leaked images from the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming have come out as filming progresses down in New York City. And with these new supposed pics, we may have gotten a big hint about a mega event going on during the film.
The image in question comes from Reddit, showing off a Stark Expo poster, dated for October 17-27. This time frame is also in accordance for the typical timing of a Homecoming dance. Homecoming dances usually always occur in October. Most interesting, the year of the event is 2018. This could mean one of two things, either this is an easter egg poster, or that the events in the film will take place some time ahead of the other films on the MCU timeline.
Supposedly, Spider-Man: Homecoming was set to occur in real time, during 2017, but this poster may say otherwise. You can check out that image right here:
Spider-Man: Homecoming is filming in Queens. Looks like Stark Expo is back. from marvelstudios
The last time we saw the Stark Expo was in 2010’s Iron Man 2. It’s been rumored that The Tinkerer might be an old employee of Stark’s, so it could be a strong possibility that the villains in the film might be crashing Tony’s big party.
What do you guys think about potentially seeing the Stark Expo again? Do you think it will have a big role in the plot? Sound off in the comments below!
