A Twitter conversation between directors Taika Waititi and Jon Watts could be suggesting that Spidey might make an appearance in Thor: Ragnarok.
Watts, the director of Homecoming, asked Waititi, the director of Thor: Ragnarok, if Spider-Man would be showing up in the film. Thus, an epic conversation ensued between the two. You can check it out right here:
@TaikaWaititi Is Spidey gonna be in Thor: Ragnarok? Pls give a heads up bc it's a long flight and we still have a lot to shoot.

In case you don’t know, this is a reference to the climax of the film Se7en, which see’s Detective David Mills (Pitt) plead with Detective Lieutenant William Somerset (Morgan Freeman) to know “what’s in the box?” We won’t spoil it here, but let’s just say it’s one of the most famous movie twists of all time.
If you ask us, it seems like these two guys are just joking around and teasing the fans. Currently, Spidey is filming in Atlanta, while Thor: Ragnarok is filming all the way out in New Zealand. It doesn’t seem foreseeable that there could be a potential crossover between the two. But, never say never. It’s certainly possible that Thor could appear in a post credit scene for Homecoming, just as Spider-Man could be in Thor: Ragnarok in some capacity. What do you guys think? Are these guys just messing around, or could this be a tease of something great to come? Let us know!
