
The Sony and Marvel deal is a big win for fans! After Tom Holland will make his debut as Spider-Man in Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, Robert Downey Jr. and Iron Man will now be a part of Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming reboot.
It’s been rumored and teased, but The Hollywood Reporter says that Robert Downey Jr. just closed a deal to make his Spider-Man appearance official. Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters on July 7, 2017.
Update: And Marvel/Sony have now confirmed it!
