'Captain America: Civil War' will pay a visit to this iconic Spider-Man location

It’s become clear lately that Tom Holland’s role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War will be bigger than expected, especially as it was initially reported that he would only be spending a few days on the Atlanta set.

Following the news that the youngster is currently shooting in Germany, we’ve now learned that we’ll be paying a visit to Spider-Man’s home in Queens in the movie too.

When Marisa Tomei was cast as Aunt May, there were rumblings that she was also set to appear in Captain America: Civil War, and it now seems likely that that is going to be the case.

A feature by 11 Alive News reveals that Marvel has turned to Nikki Giovacchini, a prop master and manager at Warner Brothers Property Department Atlanta to provide the furniture which will be used in the bedroom of Peter Parker. It’s obvious that we’ll be spending quite a bit of time with the young hero if his home life is going to be explored, so Spider-Man is going to do more than just swing through the background of a few random scenes!

Spider-Man wasn’t featured in the trailer shown to fans at the D23 Expo this past weekend, so Marvel is clearly keeping him under wraps for the time being. Here’s hoping we get something by the end of the year anyway…
