Weta Workshop reveals how they made the Green Goblin suit and glider for 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2'

Featuring brand new concept art from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, this Weta Workshop video offers up a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at how the Green Goblin’s suit was created for the Marc Webb helmed sequel.

The video also shows off the Green Goblin’s costume and make-up being applied to Dane DeHaan, along with a look at the construction of Electro’s suspension rig (from Ravencroft) and a number of other props in the Oscorp vault which were all designed and built in their workshop.

It’s a great video and shows off a slightly greener alternate look for the actor. Let us know what you guys think of these designs below!

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Chris Cooper and Paul Giamatti, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is out now!
