Last week Felicity Jones added a lot of credibility to the rumors that she was playing Felecia Hardy/Black Cat in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Jones was asked point blank if she was playing the villain and her body language and response seemed to confirm it. Now in a new interview with the Belfast Telegraph, Jones admits she’s “sort of on the baddie’s side”. Here’s what she had to say about her character in The Amazing Spider-Man 2:
It’s TOP secret. I can tell you that she’s sort of on the baddie’s side, but I can’t explain much more than that. Just the scale was incredible. It’s a different challenge to be on an enormous set, surrounded by hundreds of extras, as opposed to just being 20 people in the room.
I think that all but confirms that Felicity Jones will be playing Felecia Hardy (and maybe Black Cat) in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but we may have to wait until May 2nd, 2014 to know for sure.
