'Spider-Man' writers tease his 'Captain America: Civil War' cameo and address leaked cast list

It’s been a little over a month since Tom Holland was cast as Spider-Man by Marvel and Sony, but it sounds like the young actor may have already finished shooting at least some of his cameo appearance in next year’s Captain America: Civil War.

In a recent interview, Vacation scribes John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein revealed that they’re paying a visit to Marvel Studios this weekend to take a look at the footage and to further discuss the direction they’ll be taking the wall-crawler in in his 2017 solo outing. “We hear good things,” Goldstein teased. “We might even get to look at the Spidey suit, which is exciting.”

How lucky are they? Then again, they are writing the movie!

Now, you may have seen a pretty fake looking cast list floating around online which has Jason Biggs listed as The Scorpion, Billy Zane as The Vulture, and Hugh Laurie as J. Jonah Jameson among others. As we suspected, it’s nowhere near real, as Goldstein had this to say about the current status of the movie: “We’ve discussed certain characters, but nothing is certain yet, for sure.”

When we’re going to get our first look at Spider-Man remains to be seen, but Marvel is going to have to start promoting Captain America: Civil War soon…
